Webroot Causing slow running computer? Here’s a hotfix



Webroot is known for its supreme cybersecurity solutions for different concerns and devices. Yet, sometimes we struggle with the ill effects while accessing the program. Many of us try different solutions to fix the issue caused by Webroot but not all realize that the root cause of the problem could be multiple Webroot products installed on a single device. In such a case, we need to uninstall Webroot from the computer.


Having different Webroot products running on a device result a slow running computer and crashing windows. If you have two or more Webroot products or any other antivirus software installed on your computer, uninstall Webroot or all other security programs. 1. Click on the start button and go to the control panel

2. Go to ‘Programs’

3. Click Programs and features > uninstall a program

4. From the list of installed programs, elect Webroot uninstall

5. Click Right on Webroot option and then click uninstall button

6. If asked for confirmation, click Yes or Ok to proceed

Do not cancel Webroot uninstall window else, errors will occur. Before you follow steps on how to uninstall windows, turn on all the running activities of Webroot, such as firewall security. The software is now successfully removed from your computer.

If you want to uninstall Webroot from your Android device, you just need to tap long on the icon and you will have the option of Webroot uninstall, slide the icon to uninstall button or bin icon. In case of any trouble, connect with the support providers.
